Seeing Red by Sandra Brown

This was an excellent suspense/thriller. All the twists and breadcrumbs, and most of all the catch 22 of the people involved and their reasons for involvement. Kerra is a TV journalist falling for former ATF agent John Trapper, whose father, Major Trapper, was Kerra’s childhood hero when she happened to be inside a hotel that got bombed. Now, all these years later, it seems someone is trying to finish what they started when an assassination attempt is made on Major Trapper when Kerra happens to be in his home, having just finished an interview. She narrowly escapes with her own life, sparking an investigation that many people have gone to great lengths to keep buried for a long, long time.

Lots of action, betrayal, danger, and yes, even romance. I look forward to reading more from this author.
