One Perfect Summer by Brenda Novak
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I loved this! Three women in their mid thirties who try DNA testing discover their lives aren’t what any of them thought. They come together for one summer in a cabin on Lake Tahoe, each of them dealing with their own significant events in addition to this shocking discovery.
It was incredibly fun getting to know these sisters individually and the bonds they forged together over this life changing summer. I seriously didn’t want to put this book down and couldn’t wait to pick it back up. I was sad it ended and hope we get another book delving deeper into their ultimate discoveries that wrapped up this novel and the new relationships they each began over the course of the book.
